C. R. “RUSTY” CLOUTIER is the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of MidSouth Bank, N.A. and MidSouth Bancorp, Inc. in Lafayette, Louisiana since 1984. �He is past chairman of the National Advisory Committee of Fannie Mae in Washington, D.C., past chairman of the Independent Community Bankers of America, former member of the Securities and Exchange Commission Advisory Committee on Smaller Public Companies, and a former Director of the New Orleans Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.� Mr. Cloutier authored Big Bad Banks, How greed and ego among the big shots in banking and government created the crisis that wrecked our economy.� Most recently, he serves on the faculty of Southern Methodist University’s SW Graduate School of Banking and is one of the leading advocates of community banking in the U.S.
