Leslie Gillin

Head of Citi Cards Sales and Marketing


Leslie Gillin joined Citigroup in October 2011 as the Head of Cards Sales and Marketing of Citi Cards.† She is responsible for the development of Citi Cards acquisition and existing customer marketing strategies, marketing execution across all channels, as well as marketing investment and optimization. †In this role, Leslie works closely with Product, Decision Management, and Global Consumer Marketing & Internet Office to drive alignment of marketing efforts focused on the customer. †She leads a team of 350 marketing professionals, accountable for Direct Marketing and Advertising, deepening our multi-customer relationship base, and helping to shape global cards digital strategy, focused on Sales, Service and Spend.

Prior to this role, Leslie was the Direct Response and Analytical Marketing Executive for Bank of America, responsible for all direct marketing, analytics and targeted communications for the Consumer and Small Business Bankís 60MM consumer households and 4MM small business customers.† During her 21 years at Bank of America and formally, MBNA America, Leslie held numerous business development and marketing roles across the United States, Canada and Europe.

Before leading the Direct Response Marketing for the Consumer and Small Business Bank, Leslie was the Chief Marketing Executive for US Consumer and Small Business Cards and prior to that, the Chief Marketing Officer for MBNA Europe.†

†Leslie is a member of the Board of Directors of The Please Touch Museum of Philadelphia and the Board of Trustees for the Rosemont School of the Holy Child.† She was recognized as a 2010 Top 50 Women in Business by Delaware Today Magazine.

Leslie graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in International Relations and Spanish and also studied at the University of Salamanca in Spain.

Leslie currently resides in St. Davidís, Pennsylvania with her husband and three children.
