Julie Menendez

Julie Menendez serves as the Head of Business Products for Citizens Bank.

In this capacity, she is responsible for managing the development, pricing and policies of the core products within the small business segment ($0-$25MM).  She also leads the product continuum into Treasury and Commercial offerings to ensure a consistent and positive client experience.

In her previous role at Citizens, Julie was the Director of Sales Strategy & Execution for the Commercial Enterprise Banking (CEB) division where she led a team of colleagues in support of the overall strategy and initiatives that drove the sales process across not only the CEB footprint, but also throughout all commercial businesses and partner initiatives in go-to-market approach, reporting and communications.

Prior to joining Citizens, Julie worked at Bank of America where she was the International Operations Executive, responsible for the implementation and servicing of all large corporate and commercial Global Treasury Services products across 21 countries. Julie managed the division’s $460MM operating budget, incentive plans, team goals and led forecasting for capacity, resource and technology needs for over 350 associates. Julie also served as the Global Strategy Manager, Northeast Treasury Sales Manager and as a Senior Sales Officer while at Bank of America. She was recruited by Bank of America when she was a financial consultant for Salomon Smith Barney, earning multiple recognitions and awards for sales and leadership.

Julie has a specific focus on sales execution & management, leadership of small & large multidisciplinary global teams, creation of product and business strategies, and expertise in client/customer relations.

Julie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Boston College and an MBA from Boston College.

Julie was also previously honored by the Boston Business Journal with their annual “40 under 40” award.
