DARYL G. BYRD is President and Chief Executive Officer of IBERIABANK Corporation and IBERIABANK.�He serves on the Boards of Directors for both entities.�He joined IBERIABANK in 1999.�IBERIABANK, headquartered in Lafayette, Lousiana, is the 124-year-old subsidiary of IBERIABANK Corporation and operates 170 branch offices throughout Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Texas and Tennessee.�With $11.8 billion in assets (as of December 31, 2011) and over 2,500 associates, IBERIABANK Corporation is the largest and oldest bank holding company headquartered in Louisiana. The Company also operates bank offices in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee and Texas.Mr. Byrd began his banking career with Trust Company Bank of Georgia (now SunTrust) in 1980.�He worked for BB&T until 1985 when he moved from North Carolina to Louisiana to lead commercial lending activities for First National Bank of Lafayette, a subsidiary of First Commerce Corporation.�In 1990, he was named president and chief executive officer of Rapides Bank and Trust Company in Alexandria, Louisiana, another First Commerce Corporation bank.�In 1992, he moved to First National Bank of Commerce, the lead bank for First Commerce Corporation, as executive vice president in charge of the commercial banking and mortgage banking groups.�Following the merger of First Commerce/Bank One, Mr. Byrd was named president and chief executive officer of Bank One, Louisiana, New Orleans region.Mr. Byrd is the Federal Advisory Council representative for the Sixth District of the Federal Reserve System.�Some of his current community and civic affiliations include Greater New Orleans Foundation, board member; Eaglebrook School - Deerfield, Massachusetts, member board of trustees; Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, board member and executive committee member; The Order of St. John, Member; Committee of 100, member; Tulane Business School Council, member and LSU � E.J. Ourso College of Business Administration, Executive Board of Advisors, board member.He received a BS degree from Samford University in 1976 and an MBA degree from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 1978.
