Deputy Enforcement Director, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
Deb is a Deputy Enforcement Director at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She is responsible for overseeing a team of attorneys handling exam support, investigations, and litigation. Prior to joining the Bureau, Deb served as Counsel to the House Ethics Committees, where she led high-profile investigations and disciplinary proceedings. Deb spent several years at the Tax Division of the Department of Justice, where she worked primarily on civil tax and bankruptcy cases, including complex tax shelter litigation and large Chapter 11 reorganizations. She also served as a judicial law clerk following her graduation from Notre Dame Law School.
