Director, Credit Risk, The Risk Management Association
As a Director of Credit Risk, Jimís principal responsibility is to work closely with senior lenders and risk management officers from diverse functional areas to develop programs (principally peer-sharing forums, conferences, and training workshops) that meet the needs of line managers, risk managers and their subordinates involved in commercial and consumer lending in RMA member financial institutions.
Prior to joining RMA in 1995, Jim spent nearly 22 years at Bank of Boston. Over his years there, he was a senior relationship manager in the Corporate Banking and the Multinational Banking Divisions and held a variety of credit positions, including being senior credit officer for Bank of Boston-Worcester, a $1.5 billion affiliate. He is also an original co-author of Bank of Bostonís first corporate-wide credit policy manual.
He has an AB in economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from The University of Michigan.
