Julia C. Wellborn

Julia C. Wellborn is the Executive Vice President, Executive Director for Wealth & Institutional Management (WIM), the division of Comerica that serves the needs of affluent clients and includes Private Banking, Investment Management and Trust, Comerica Securities, Comerica Insurance, Institutional Trust and Retirement Services and Wilson Kemp.Julia joined Comerica on March 30, 2009 as Senior Vice President and Texas Regional Managing Director of Wealth and Institutional Management.Julia�s background includes more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry where she demonstrated success in business development, leadership and strategic roles.Prior to joining Comerica, Julia served as North Texas Region President for Wachovia Corporation where she recruited and managed business and commercial banking teams in the market. She began her banking career as a Management Trainee, Branch Manager and Commercial Loan Officer in Atlanta prior to leading teams in Georgia, North Carolina and Texas.Active in the community, Julia serves on the Boards of the International Women�s Forum and Southern Methodist University�s Cox School of Business, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and is involved with the Young President�s Organization � Dallas Chapter, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, The Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce and Children�s Medical Center of Dallas. In 2008, she was named by the Dallas Business Journal as one of �Dallas� Most Powerful Women� and by Texas Diversity Magazine as one of 36 �Most Powerful and Influential Women in Texas.�Julia earned a bachelor�s of business administration from State University of West Georgia.
