As Wells Fargo’s Director of Social Media, Renée Brown leads the development and implementation of enterprise social media strategies for Wells Fargo. Her responsibilities include integration of team member social engagement, social communications, social media marketing and social servicing practices across the company.
Brown, a 16-year company veteran, has more than 25 years of marketing, media and leadership experience. She most recently was the Director of Wealth, Brokerage and Retirement Marketing, and she served as the Director of Brand Management at Wachovia. She also held numerous marketing roles in Business and Small Business Banking. Before joining Wells Fargo, Brown was a marketing leader at two community banks in Louisiana and worked in radio for nine years.
Brown holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communication Theory from Louisiana State University, where she was named to Phi Beta Kappa.
She is a featured blogger on the Wells Fargo Beyond Today blog and volunteers with numerous community nonprofits, including serving as a longtime board member of the Carolina’s American Red Cross and co-chair of the Tiffany Circle. She currently serves on the board of Out and Equal Workplace Advocates.
