ATM Channel & Retail Distribution Executive, Bank of America
Rob Aulebach is Bank of America’s ATM Channel & Retail Distribution Executive responsible for the strategy, management and ongoing development of a comprehensive and integrated network of banking centers, home loan offices and ATMs ensuring convenient access for our 50 million consumer banking and small business customers. Aulebach oversees the retail network consisting of more than 5,000 banking centers, 300 Home Loan offices and approximately 16,300 ATMs.
Aulebach has nearly 30 years experience across multiple disciplines in financial services holding key leadership positions in commercial and consumer customer segments, deposits technology and operations. During his tenure, he has led several retail banking store initiatives such as the successful transition of Fleet Bank’s 1,500 banking centers and 3,500 ATMs to the Bank of America brand in 2004. Prior to his current role, Rob was the Retail Distribution Planning and Execution Executive overseeing the execution of the banking center and ATM distribution strategy coast to coast. Throughout his career, he has been recognized by the company’s most senior leaders for his ability to lead and drive results. In 2001, he was awarded the National Customer Experience Leadership Award, one of the company’s most prestigious awards. He received his Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in 2003. Aulebach began his financial services career as a consumer banker for Bank of New York.
Aulebach has a degree in economics from the University of Virginia, is an Honorary Commander with the U.S. Air Force, and currently serves on the advisory board of NCR for Global Self-service device development. He lives in Charlotte, N.C. with his wife and two sons.
