Gaining competitive advantage via the mobile channel means creating a completely unique mobile banking experience. That’s what BBVA realized after launching an initial mobile app that looked much like other mobile banking apps. With this in mind, the bank brought their development in-house and late last year launched its mobile banking iPad app, complete with a graphical user interface and functionality not seen before. Within the last two years, the bank has grown their mobile banking users six times over. Each quarter, the bank plans to roll out new features such as payments functionality. Hear about BBVA’s mobile banking roadmap, and the process and resources required to rapidly develop new and relevant mobile services to its customers.
