Challenged by increasing competition and shrinking margins, Business Bankers are being forced to shorten loan approval cycles, improve credit quality and reduce operating costs.  A detailed Roadmap to achieve a Sales-to-Servicing, Straight-Through-Process is the best way to make significant progress on all three fronts. 

The lending process is considered “Straight Though” when all documents and data are entered into an integrated system once and are routed to the appropriate parties for analysis, review and approval electronically.  All parties, (bankers, customers and prospects), have permission based access to the system where they complete tasks and view loan status.  Data and documents move seamlessly from sales to underwriting to servicing systems without reentry of data.
