Westpac has set for itself an ambitious goal: to be the "best digital bank" in New Zealand, if not the world. Based on some of its latest tests with Google Glass, iBeacons and smart watches, the bank has a shot at the title. The bank is looking to deliver consistent online service across all platforms, predominantly through the mobile phone. It also means developing its own strategy based on listening and talking to customers, and building meaningful digital engagement across channels.
The bank’s chief digital officer will join the Digital Banking Summit live from Auckland New Zealand to share one bank’s vision of what it means to be the best, including:
