Southwest Taps Dahlmann to Be Chief Executive

David S. Dahlmann has become chief executive officer of Southwest National Corp. and its subsidiary, Southwest Bank.

His election follows the retirement of veteran banker Joseph L. Bair.

Last October Mr. Dahlmann was named president and appointed to the board of directors as Mr. Bair became chairman of the board.

Although Mr. Bair has retired from active management after a 42 years with the bank, he will continue as chairman of the board.

Before becoming president, Mr. Dahlmann was executive vice president in charge of lending and investments and was responsible for formulating and administering strategic plans and asset and liability management.
