Cephas a Step Closer To NY Banking Post
NEW YORK -- The New York Senate banks committee has approved the nomination of Derrick D. Cephas as superintendent of banks.
The committee's backing puts Mr. Cephas one step closer to confirmation by the full Senate, which is expected to take place June 25.
Mr. Cephas, 39, is a lawyer with the New York firm of Breed, Abbot & Morgan.
