PriMerit Promotes Rogers and Cheever

David Rogers, president and chief operating officer of PriMerit Bank, Las Vegas, has been appointed vice chairman of the board of directors.

Dan Cheever, executive vice president and chief financial officer, has been was named president and chief operating officer.

The board of PriMerit Bank also has created a new executive management group, called the Office of the Chairman, to set policy and direction for the bank.

Kenny C. Guinn, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of PriMerit Bank will serve in that group, along with Rogers and Cheever.

Mr. Rogers will direct the bank's strategic planning activities.

Mr. Cheever will oversee the daily operations of the bank.

Mr. Cheever will also sit on the board of directors for PriMerit Bank and continue on the boards of three bank subsidiaries: First Nevada Ltd., a real estate development company; PriMerit Mortgage Corp., a mortgage banking firm; and PriMerit Investor Services, an alternative investment products company.
