Florida Informanagement Services Inc., Orlando, launched software that speeds bank card issuance.
Unveiled at the Bank Administration Institute's Retail Delivery Systems Conference in Orlando this week, the personal-computer-based system, called EasyCard, allows financial institutions to mail cards to customers within 24 hours.
Issuers enter customer information on PCs during the business day. Overnight, a Florida Informanagement computer dials the PC, gathers the information, and encodes a card for mailing.
