Tokai Bank Names Chief for the Americas
Shuzo Sato has been named general manager of Tokai Bank Ltd.'s regional headquarters for the Americas, based in New York.
Mr. Sato will oversee all of the Japanese bank's operations in North and South America.
Tokai, which has its headquarters in Nagoya, is the 13th-largest bank in the world, with assets of $250 billion.
Since May 1990, Mr. Sato has been general manager of Tokai's Los Angeles agency and president of Tokai Bank of California. In June he was elected a director of the parent company.
