Bank of Tokyo Brings Tanaka Back to N.Y.

Kazuteru Tanaka has taken over as vice chairman of Bank of Tokyo Trust Co., the New York subsidiary of Bank of Tokyo Ltd.

Mr. Tanaka replaces Yukio Yoshida, who is returning to Tokyo as director and general manager of the overseas division.

Mr. Tanaka will also assume the responsibilities of agent and general manager of Bank of Tokyo's New York agency. He also becomes chairman of both BOT Futures and BOT (Latin America) Inc. in New York and a director of BOT Information Services Inc. in New Jersey.

Mr. Tanaka joined Bank of Tokyo in 1964, following his graduation from Tokyo University's Faculty of Law.

He worked in the bank's New York agency for nearly four years in the 1970s.
