Keating Won't Testify at Hearing on Lincoln
LOS ANGELES - Charles H. Keating Jr.'s lawyers said he will refuse to testify at a hearing into whether he and six other former officials looted Lincoln Savings and Loan Association of $130.5 million.
Attorneys for both Mr. Keating and federal regulators said he would sign a declaration exercising his right to refuse to testify on the ground of self-incrimination.
