Thomas J. Monti, head of institutional sales at Bankers Trust Co.'s municipal finance department since 1988, has joined M.R. Beal & Co. as executive vice president and manager of the municipal bond group.
Mr. Monti, 46, had been senior vice president and manager of the municipal bond department at Prudential Securities before joining Bankers Trust. Prior to his stint at Prudential, he held direct sales and managerial positions in the institutional sales departments of PaineWebber and E.F. Hutton.
