PaineWebber Inc. announced it has hired Carol Smith Canfield as a first vice president and manager of airport finance in its public finance department.
Ms. Canfield had been with First Boston Corp. since 1981, most recently as a vice president in its public finance department. While at the firm, Ms. Canfield worked on refunding escrow deposit issues designed for the Omaha and the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airports.
Ms. Canfield also served as a member of the Aviation System Capacity Task Force for Transportation Secretary Samuel Skinner.
