Shea to Head Merged Units Of Bank of N.H.

Paul R. Shea has been appointed president of the newly consolidated Bank of New Hampshire.

Bank of New Hampshire Corp., Manchester, N.H., made the announcement after completing the consolidation of its affiliate banks into one state-chartered bank.

The banks that merged were Bank of New Hampshire, National Association; The Bristol Bank; Strafford National Bank; The Suncook Bank, and Bank of New Hampshire-Portsmouth.

Mr. Shea joined the bank holding company in 1980 and is executive vice president. As president of the $1 billion-asset Bank of New Hampshire, Mr. Shea will direct the various banking units with a focus on streamlining operations, cultivating consumer and commercial lending, and improving customer service.
