Bank Institute Study Of Consumer Attitudes

Coopers & Lybrand and the Bank Administration Institute have prepared a study of consumer attitudes about beginning and continuing a bank relationship.

The sponsors said the report is the first major and analysis of retail banking relationships from a consumer viewpoint.

The study will be available in December.

It is based on surveys that asked consumers why they open accounts with particular banks and why they keep or move those relationships.
