FRESNO, Calif. -- The deadline for completing the merger of ValliCorp Holdings Inc. and Pacific Bancorp. has been extended until July 31, 1993, because of delays in receiving regulatory approval.
The companies announced that the postponement resulted from a recent Community Reinvestment Act and compliance examination of Bank of Fresno, ValliCorp's principal subsidiary. The examination is to be repeated early next year.
ValliCorp and Pacific Bancorp. said they expect the merger to be completed in the first quarter of next year instead of the 1992 fourth quarter.
