COLUMBUS, Ga. - Total System Services Inc., the credit card processor controlled by Synovus Financial Corp., said.it increased third-quarter net income by 16% to $4.5 million, or 28 cents a share.
Revenue for the company, which does the processing for the AT&T Universal card and numerous MasterCard and Visa programs, was $34 million, up 18% from the 1991 third quarter.
Net income for the first nine months increased 16% to $11.9 million, or 75 cents a share. Nine-month revenue rose 16% to $94.3 million.
