ValliCorp and Pacific delay merger voting.

FRESNO, Calif. - ValliCorp Holdings Inc. and Pacific Bancorp. said they had delayed until early next year the stockholder voting on their planned merger.

The voting had been scheduled for mid-November.

Fresno-based ValliCorp and Bakersfield, Calif.-based Pacific said they wanted to reduce the time lag between the voting and regulatory approval, expected by mid-1993.

They said the delay would also allow more time for the share exchange ratio to be more clearly determined.
