LONDON -- Saatchi & Saatchi Co. said Chase Manhattan Bank increased its stake in the company to 5.2%, or 8,269,094 shares, from 4.4%, or 6,997,897 shares.
The advertising agency also said Scottish Amicable Investment Manager Ltd. reduced its interest to 4.72%, or 7.5 million shares, from 5.36%, or 8.5 million shares.
Saatchi & Saatchi said FMR Corp., the large U.S. mutual fund group, and its direct and and indirect subsidiaries, and Fidelity International Ltd. and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, reduced their combined stake to less than 3% from 3.1%, or 4.9 million shares.
