ALEX. BROWN Kleinwort Benson Realty Advisors Corp., Baltimore, named Lynn C. Thurber to the newly created post of managing director and chief operating officer.
The company, a real estate pension fund adviser, is a joint venture between Alex. Brown Inc., Baltimore, an investment banking firm, and Kleinwort Benson, a London-based merchant bank.
Ms. Thurber had been with Morgan Stanley & Co., New York, as a principal.
EUROPEAN AMERICAN Bank, Uniondale, N.Y., appointed Philip A. Limanni as senior vice president in charge of commercial lending for its newly created Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx lending division. He had been vice president and group head for Queens, with additional responsibilities for Brooklyn and the Bronx.
