Burritt hires Wisman as president, CEO.

Patrick Wisman, formerly an executive with Pittsburgh-based Equimark Corp., has become president and CEO of Burritt InterFinancial Bancorp., New Britain, Conn.

The statechartered savings bank cited his experience with turnarounds.

The appointment required the concurrence of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and Connecticut banking authorities.

Mr. Wisman, who had been a consultant to Burritt since April, took over from Timothy Nadeau, who was interim chirr executive.

That job went to Mr. Nadeau in March, when the board accepted the resignation of John C. Jaynes, president and CEO since 1982. Mr. Nadeau has returned to his previous post, executive vice president of operations.

Since 1989, Mr. Wisman had been president and CEO of Equimark's Treasure Valley Bank in Boise, Idaho. Burritt noted that he had returned Treasure Valley to profitability and was instrumental in causing regulatory authorities to lift a ceaseand-desist order against it.

Before joining Treasure Valley, he was senior vice president of Equimark's special assets group, responsible for the company's larger problem assets.
