Integra renews data-center pact with Systematics for 5 to 10 years.

Integra Financial Corp. has renewed a contract t farm out its data center operations to Systematics Financial Services Inc.

The contract, the value of which was not disclosed, could run between five and 10 years, according to a Systematics spokeswoman.

Systematics will dedicate about 140 people to running Integra's data processing operations, its voice and data networks, and its trust portfolio accounting system, The vendor will also help the bank consolidate the acquired operations of Landmark Saving Association after Integra receives the expected final regulatory approvals in July.

Integra was formed through the merger of Union National Corp. and Pennbancorp in 1989. Union National hired Systematics to run its computer operations in 1987; Pennbancorp had been a Systematics client since 1979.

The merged bank used Systematics to help consolidate its systems and standardize products across the banks. The project to standardize software was completed late last year.
