Michigan's Adrian Bank to get thrift branch.

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Adrian State Bank said it will acquire the Tecumseh, Mich., branch of First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Lenawee County when First Federal's previously announced merger into Standard Federal Savings Bank is completed.

Thomas R. Ricketts, chairman of Troy-based Standard Federal, said the branch sale would "fulfill a commitment we made in connection with a prior transaction with Adrian State Bank in a manner which is mutually beneficial."

Adrian State Bank is owned by ASB Bankcorp, a $97 million-asset holding company with five Lenawee County offices.
