EDS offers disaster-recovery software for PCs.

Electronic Data Systems Corp., Plano, Tex., said it is selling new personal computer software that helps banks prepare for natural or man-made disasters.

The program, called the Business Recovery System, is in use at a few institutions. It employs a methodology developed by McGladrey & Pullen, an accounting firm in Davenport, Iowa, an EDS spokesman said.
