Capitol Bancorp buys Oakland Commerce.

LANSING, Mich. - Capitol Bancorp said it had completed the acquisition of Oakland Commerce Bank for $3.5 million in cash and notes.

Oakland Commerce, based in Farmington Hills, has $90 million in assets. It became the fourth banking subsidiary of Lansing-based Capitol Bancorp, bringing its total assets to $240 million.
