Bank of N.Y. picks Mueller for credit post.

The Bank of New York has elected Robert J. Mueller senior executive vice president and chief credit policy officer.

Mr. Mueller replaces vice chairman Thomas A. Renyi in the credit policy post. Mr. Renyi is now responsible for securities processing, operations and technology.

New executive vice presidents are Richard G. Genin, head of securities operations, and Joseph M. Velli, head of corporate trust and agency services.

New senior vice presidents are Leslie V. Godridge, central commercial banking; Richard R. Rodelli, capital markets; Douglas B. Smith, Northeast department of the communications, entertainment, and publishing division; and Thomas A. Szczesny, investment techonology.
