COLUMBUS, Ga. -- Total System Services Inc., the credit card processing company controlled by Synovus Financial Corp., said it has made its first big move to diversify by acquiring Mailtek Inc. of Atlanta.
The acquired company provides data processing, computer output microfiche, list management, plastic card embossing, laser printing, mailing, and related financial services to financial institutions, health care companies, airlines, and the leisure industry.
