American National names Delp president.

Alan F. Delp has been named president of American National Corp. and its principal subsidiary, American National Bank and Trust Co., Chicago.

He succeeds Leo F. Mullin, who continues as chairman and chief executive officer of both.

Mr. Delp joined American National in January as executive vice president and chief credit officer.

He had been head of the European, Middle East, and African areas for the international banking group of First Chicago Corp., which he joined in 1969.

He will manage all American National's business units that have customer relationships.
