Trial of Lavoro figure postponed in Atlanta.

ATLANTA -- The U.S. District Court trial of the Atlanta banker accused of making $4 billion in illegal loans to Iraq has been postponed for the second time.

Christopher B. Drogoul, former Atlanta branch manager for Banca Nazionale del Lavoro of Italy, is now scheduled to start his trial June 22.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Gale McKenzie said the delay was the result of an agreement with the defense and was not related to political pressures.
