Ronald S. Robbins, 51, former president of SunAmerica Capital Services, New York, was appointed to the new post of president of Liberty Financial Bank Group, a subsidiary of Boston-based Liberty Financial Cos.
The group offers a variety of securities and insurance products through banking institutions.
Mr. Robins has more than 25 years of experience in financial services. At SunAmerica he was executive vice president for sales and marketing before becoming president. He was instrumental in developing the sales distribution channels for SunAmerica's mutual funds.
Before joining SunAmerica, Mr. Robbins spent five years as vice president for national sales and marketing at Monarch Financial Services, Worcester, Mass.
