FDIC plans auction of 200 properties.

WASHINGTON -- The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. announced Thursday that it will auction up to $750 million of commercial properties on Dec. 1 and 2 in Dallas.

The agency will offer financing to qualified buyers for more than 200 properties.

The auction will be conducted by Ross Dove Co., an auctioneering company, and by a subsidiary of the real estate firm of Grubb & Ellis Co.

Investors will also be able to participate via televised hookups from sites in Boston, Miami, and Los Angeles.
