Fulton agrees to buy bank in Denver, Pa.

LANCASTER, Pa. - Fulton Financial Corp. said it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Denver National Bank in Denver, Pa., in a stock deal worth about $58 million.

Under terms of the agreement, each of Denver National's 400,000 common stock shares will be exchanged for 6.5 shares of Fulton Financial. The merger is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 1993.
