4 offices of PNC unit sold to Harleysville.

PITTSBURGH -- PNC Financial Corp. said it completed the previously announced sale of four Provident National Bank branches to Harleysville National Corp.

The offices in Collegeville, Sellersville, and Quakertown, Pa., opened as branches of Harleysville National Bank and Trust Co., with the former Provident employees transferred to Harleysville National.

The acquisition gave the $450 million-asset Harleysville National its first three offices in Bucks County and added one Montgomery County location to its previous 11.

Harleysville added 10,000 customers with about $100 million in deposits, and said it expects to acquire the offices' consumer loans in the coming months.
