Mid-State Federal Savings Bank.

Mid-State Federal Savings Bank, Ocala, Fla., named James L. Goehler to succeed Alfred T. May as president and chief operating officer, effective Sept. 30.

Mr. May is resigning at that time to pursue other interests, according to the bank.

Mr. Goehler also has been elected a director of the bank, where he has been employed since March 1989. He previously was executive vice president, chief financial officer, and secretary of the bank.

Mid-State said David W. Parker has been named to succeed Mr. Goehler as chief financial officer and secretary.

Mr. Parker has been vice president and treasurer of the bank since March 1988, and will continue as treasurer.
