NEW YORK - Chase Mortgage Finance Corp. said a $373 million multi-class mortgage pass-through issue was rated AAA by Fitch Investors Service Inc.
Fitch said the rating reflects the high quality of the mortgage. collateral, credit-loss coverage provided by 9.25% subordinate Class B certificates, the integrity of the legal and financial structures, and the master servicing capabilities of Chase Home Mortgage Corp.
The collateral for the Series 19921, Class A certificates will be provided by a pool of fixed-rate, first lien, one- to four-family residential mortgage loans. They are seasoned an average three years, and more than 60% have terms of 30 years or 15 years.
