PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Amsouth Bancorp. received approval from Florida to acquire Mid-State Federal Savings Bank.
The Alabama-based company said final regulatory approval is needed from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
as previously reported, the acquisition agreement calls for each Mid-State common share.
