FDIC lifts order on Co-operative Bank.

ACTON, Mass -- Co-operative Bank of Concord said it has been notified by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. that a cease-and-desist order imposed in July 1991 is being removed.

It said the order required the bank to make certain operating changes and restricted its ability to pay dividends without prior approval of the FDIC.
