Arab banks pick Logica messaging.

Three major banks in the United Arab Emirates chose Logica's delivery system for interbank messages. The decisions by Commercial Bank of Dubai, the National Bank of Dubai, and the Emirates Bank International, follows the introduction of Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication network services to the region earlier this year. Since then, financial institutions have been replacing telex-based messaging systems with Swift interfaces to improve efficiency and reduce transaction costs.
