McGRAW-HILL INC., New York, said James R. Quandt has been appointed president of its new financial information services group.
The group includes the S&P information Group, which provides financial, economic, and investment information, as well as analytical services, to the global financial community and commodity trading markets; J.J. Kenny Co., a leading provider of municipal securities information, and DRI/McGraw-Hill, a leading information-based economic advisory and consulting service.
Mr. Quandt joined McGraw-Hill in March 1992 as president of J.J. Kenny Co. He was with Security Pacific National Bank in Los Angeles for 10 years.
