LOS ANGELES - Great Western Bank has introduced an asset-allocation account for people who want to invest in a range of fixed-income securities.
The account, one of seven asset-allocation accounts offered by the bank's Sierra Asset Management, lets customers invest in a variety of Sierra Trust Funds.
The fixed-income investment option is geared toward long-term, conservative investors looking for steady income, capital preservation, and minimal risk, said F. Brian Cerini, chairman of Sierra's 13-member fund family.
The accounts are sold through brokerage firms and the bank's California and Florida branches.
