OMAHA - Firstier Financial Inc. raised its quarterly dividend to 39 cents a share from 20 cents a share, payable Jan. 1 to shareholders of record Dec. 6.
The new rate brings Firstier's payout in line with that of Banc One Corp., which is acquiring the company in a stock transaction expected to close in the first quarter.
As reported, one common share of Banc One will be exchanged for each share of Firstier.
