Bank of Nashville is stockbrokers' target.

NASHVILLE -- Bank of Nashville said two shareholders, Steve MacKenzie and Brenda MacKenzie, who together own about 5.5% of the bank's stock, have informed it that they plan to seek control of the company and seek its sale or merger.

The bank said no offer has been made to date, and it has not held talks with the MacKenzies.
